		About Me
		The author of this website has lived in Arizona since 1972 and has been gardening for more than 28 years in Southern Arizona.  Also a Landscape Architect and Certified Arborist, she divides her free time between cultivating her 2500 square foot organic vegetable garden, canning , freezing and drying produce, and entertaining her 2 cats. She also designs custom residental landscapes, teaches classes in her community on caring for desert landscaping, and is currently involved in teaching gardening classes for the local community food bank. Her other hobby besides gardening and plants, is painting Arizona landscapes in watercolors. Her current project is the completion of a memoir about her Forest Service firefighting experiences from the mid-1970's to early 1980's.
